The decking flooring in Accoya has been used for a private residence in Puglia in Southern Italy in the area of the trulli of Alberobello (BA). Â The decking flooring in Accoya. The Trulli of Alberobello are part of the UNESCO World Heritage and every year receive a large number of Italian and international visitors. The need of the client was to be able to set a swimming pool in the context of the surrounding environment where wood was the central element and the perfect union between the olive trees and the limestone stones of the territory. The very high summer temperatures, the low presence of rainfall together with the many hours of sunshine a day required the use of a guaranteed material with maximum durability and dimensional stability but with a natural footprint. There was no alternative to the use of natural Accoya.

Type
of intervention

The subfloor of the pool area presented significant problems and irregularities in the areas surrounding the roof and therefore it was necessary to cross and arrange a correct level of the substructure in joists accoya to ensure uniformity to the footfall and solidity over time. The installation presented the need to be able to meet Italian plug in the corners in order to create aesthetic continuity to the installation. The result was absolutely perfect.
